Romance and Rose Gold – A Winter Wedding Styled Shoot in Northumberland with Emily Cromarty Photography

When a friend suggests an epic styled photo shoot to boost their wedding photography portfolio how can you possibly say no?! Emily wanted to stage a number of styled photo shoots to show off her skills as a wedding photographer and present different themes and concepts for each one. The first two shoots took place at the lovely Broomhouse Farmhouse – a classically styled manor house near to the Scottish borders and just south of Berwick Upon Tweed. The owner Mandy welcomed the idea of staging two bridal shoots in... Read the Rest →

Blush and Gold for Emily and Craig at Hexham Winter Garden

This was one of our favourite weddings of the summer! Emily had a really clear vision for her day and just needed a few finishing touches from us to create her dream pink and gold theme. With just some dusky pink chair sashes on the chiavari chairs, gold charger plates and gold table numbers, the room was transformed! Emily’s florist added the extra wow factor with garlands around the columns of the beautiful Hexham Winter Garden and table centres. These gorgeous images were taken by the brilliant Helen Russell Photography... Read the Rest →

Purple Haze – Inspirational Copper and Purple Styled Shoot

Last year we took part in another amazing photo shoot with Belle Bridal Magazine, this time at Guyzance Hall in Northumberland. We planned a purple-inspired table using plenty of stocks, hydrangea and roses to create an opulent look. To add even more interest we added on-trend copper vases and accessories, a blush sequin table runner and delicate chiffon chair drops. The ballroom at Guyzance is so light and airy that almost any colour combination will look good, and they have natural wood ‘brentwood’ style chairs that require minimal dressing for... Langley Castle Wedding Decorations

Over the summer we had the pleasure of dressing three unique weddings at Langley Castle in Northumberland. The first saw Emma’s lush gold, pearl and ivory theme bring a touch of class to the striking function room… Next bride Laura added aqua blue to her day with the chair sashes – perfect for a summer wedding… and last but not least, Hailey finished the summer with her girly dusky pink sashes and martini vase table centres booked through our Platinum Package… If you would like more information about booking our... Watering Cans, Lace and Wildflowers for Michelle and Tim at Newton Hall

This was a particularly gorgeous wedding we had the pleasure of decorating this spring at Newton Hall. Our pretty and popular ivory lace sashes were used on the chiavari chairs with aisle chair flowers in soft pink and cream hues. Tables were decorated with matching table runners and assorted cream watering cans filled with dusky pink and cream flowers. Mixed jam jars were filled with even more flowers and scattered on the tables. The bride provided her own chunky log plinths for an extra touch of rustic styling. These gorgeous... Roses and Hydrangea at Horton Grange for Vicky and Paul

I am so pleased to share this very sophisticated wedding with you all. Vicky and Paul arranged an intimate wedding at Horton Grange in Ponteland, Newcastle, and, despite just having 30 guests, pulled out all the stops when it came to decorating the venue… Lace chair hoods were added to the leather chairs already at Horton Grange and were finished with a flower corsage to add a pop of colour. Most of the ceremony decorations were then used throughout the venue to add a personal touch to every room –... Read the Rest →

Kirkley Hall Wedding with Lace Sashes and Chair Flowers

On Easter Monday we set-up this lovely ceremony at Kirkley Hall in Ponteland – the sun was just about to enter the courtyard to guarantee a gorgeous setting for bride Emma and all of her guests. The ivory lace chair sashes were tied to the side and accompanied by a posy of tulips tied into the bow…   Tweet

Nicola and Jon at Ellingham Hall by Helen Russell Photography

This February we dressed Ellingham Hall with chair covers and ivory sashes for the wedding of Nicola and Jon. As with most of our set-ups at this venue we arrived and dressed the chairs the evening before the wedding, so we often get to miss most of the carefully planned and beautiful details of the day. Luckily the couple had an amazing photographer and Helen Russell has already shared this lovely wedding over on her blog. Make sure you check it out here: http://helenrussellphotography.co.uk/pretty-pink-vintage-wedding-ellingham-hallnorthumberland/ Here are some of our own images... Read the Rest →

Lace Sashes and DIY Details – Marie and Adam at Newton Hall

Marie is one of my favourite bride’s from 2014 – I think it’s because we both have the same bargain-loving and spreadsheet tendencies! She sourced all of her wedding decor herself and then organised everything to perfection, creating table decorations that I couldn’t have done better myself! All that was left for us to do was add the lace sashes to the chiavari chairs at Newton Hall and coordinate the decorations according to Marie’s plan!   Lace chair sashes and table runners by Styled and Seated  Photography by Scott Spock ...
