Mr & Mr Temple’s Stylish Wedding Day at Newton Hall
Chris and Greg were one of the most laid back couples ever when it came to the morning of the wedding, even taking the time to style up all of their gorgeous bridesmaids before getting all dapper themselves! They were also a joy to work with in the planning stages and had some brilliant ideas for their big day venue styling and flowers at Newton Hall.
All of the details of their stunning September wedding have been captured by Ross at RGMphoto (one of our favourite fellow wedding industry suppliers) and we have selected the highlights to inspire your own Newton Hall or Northumberland wedding.
The guys wanted to incorporate shades of blue and a wildflower feel to their flowers and then we matched pops of mustard yellow from their bridesmaid gowns and ties.
For the venue styling we decided on a grey colour palette to coordinate with the blue and yellow touches – with grey chiffon chair drapes to give a romantic look, teamed with sprigs of sea holly and gypsophila in the back of every chair.
We love that Chris and Greg had their beautiful mums walk them down the aisle – such a lovely touch.
For the bridesmaid bouquets we used blue delphinium, sea holly, gypsophila and a hint of yellow craspedia to create a rustic yet colourful combination.
For the buttonholes we used white cala lillies with the touch of blue sea holly.
Our silver lanterns were used along the aisle and then transferred to the tables in the reception with wreaths of flowers, grey linen table runners and rustic table numbers added.
Ceremony flowers used on the top table as seen above.
The amazing chalkboard style cake from Love Lily Cakes matched the styling of the day perfectly.
