Chinese Celebration Meets English Garden Wedding at Newton Hall
This was a totally epic wedding! I knew this day was going to be something special from meeting Mary and Raju for the first time – two ceremonies, over 100 guests and one of the most beautiful and versatile venues in the North East, what’s not to love?!
We provided the flowers and styling for the day, including setting up the Chinese ceremony to celebrate Mary’s heritage on the wedding hill and then the traditional Civil Ceremony in the beautiful garden room.
Chris at Rennison-Rae Photography was kind enough to share these images with us and they are just beautiful! I can’t wait to work with Chris again on weddings and photo shoots later on this year – please check him out here!
So many people have loved the ‘long and low’ floral arrangement we created for the English civil ceremony – we love this mix of roses and hydrangea. It also looked great on the fireplace at Newton Hall (on the terrace) and then again on the top table.
This day was also an absolute scorcher – couldn’t have asked for better summer weather for an outdoor ceremony and the amazing Chinese entertainment.
Tables and chairs were dressed with our blush pink chiffon to add to the romance of the day and tie in perfectly with the flowers. The cake was provided by the lovely Dawn, The Master Cakesmith.
And last but not least – for that extra special touch – the staircase into the main hall at Newton Hall was adorned with hydrangea and gypsophila all the way up for a picture perfect entrance.
