Ivory and Lace at Ramside Hall – The Wedding of Mr & Mrs Freeman
Earlier this year I had the very special job of dressing the chairs for one of my best friends (and cousin) Kelsey. She wanted to keep things classy and elegant with ivory taffeta sashes and lace.
The wedding at Ramside Hall had over 300 guests in attendance, with over 600 chairs to dress! We decided to add a sash to the white-washed chiavari chairs used in the ballroom for the ceremony, with an alternative way to tie the bows…
The ivory sashes looked great in the room, completed with a white carpet for the bride.
For the reception, Kelsey went for white linen chair covers in the Bishop’s Suite with the ivory taffeta and ivory lace tied together and matching table runners. The whole room was draped in white by Jordana Events, who also supplied the flowers and starlight dancefloor.

The vintage candy cart was supplied by The Couture Candy Co based in Hetton Le Hole.
In the end, the Bishop’s Suite was transformed and guests gasped as they entered into a white wedding wonderland!
